Wakeford of Seaford, Ca 1795. Rare 30 hour Regulator.
This is in fact the only clock we have ever seen by this maker from Seaford. It is especially interesting because it is a version of the 11″ square dial thirty hour longcase made by Kemp and Holman in Lewes, which we can only imagine he may have seen on a visit there. A once only chance to own a Seaford clock but with an intriguing connection to Lewes.
