Mark Pohlman, London Ca 1770

Mark Pohlman was apprenticed to John Peyps on the 1st June 1741 for seven years. This is not a maker we have encountered before. The 10″ square silvered dial is beautifully signed  for the maker covering the entire centre . The eight day movement is well finished with a large brass bob pendulum.  This small Oak cased clock would be ideal for a study.

Price. £5850 Circa. 1770
